Job summary

Nationstar Development Corporation is seeking a qualified First Aider to be stationed in Pili, Camarines Sur. The role focuses on providing first aid, assessing injuries, and coordinating with emergency services to ensure casualty safety.

The candidate will maintain the First Aid Area, keep proper records, and hand over to medical responders as needed, while upholding OSH standards on site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year course.
• Valid certificate in First Aid/OC First Aid/ Emergency First Aid and/or Basic Life Support from a credible training provider.
• Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) and emergency response procedures.

I. Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate first aid treatment.
• Manages incidents and ensures the safety of themselves, bystanders, and casualties.
• Assesses casualties and determines the nature and cause of their injuries.
• Arranges for further medical assistance or other emergency services to attend, as necessary.
• Prioritizes casualties based on medical needs.
• Makes notes and records observations of casualties, when able to do so.
• Ensures that the First Aid Area is neat, clean, properly stocked, and compliant with OSH standards.
• Ensures that first aid supplies and equipment are readily available and properly maintained.
• Completes required forms and documentation.
• Provides a proper handover when further medical assistance arrives.
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

II. Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year course.
• Preferably with at least two (2) years of experience as a First Aider in construction, industrial, or safety-related work.
• With a valid certificate in Standard First Aid, Occupational First Aid, Emergency First Aid, and/or Basic Life Support (BLS) Training from an accredited training provider such as the Philippine Red Cross or DOLE-accredited training center.
• Knowledgeable in basic life support (BLS) and emergency response procedures.
• Physically fit, alert, and capable of handling stressful situations.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willing to be assigned in Pili, Camarines Sur.
