Job summary

Nimerra Construction Corporation seeks a qualified First Aider to join our on-site safety team. The candidate must hold a valid First Aid/BLS certificate and have experience in construction or industrial settings.

You will provide immediate medical assistance, manage incident reports, maintain first-aid supplies, and coordinate with the Safety Officer, Site Engineer, and Company Nurse to ensure rapid, compliant emergency response.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified First Aider with a valid First Aid/BLS certificate.
• Preferably with experience in construction sites, industrial settings, or similar work environments.
• Knowledgeable in basic first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
• Able to assess and provide immediate assistance for injuries, accidents, and medical emergencies.
• Familiar with proper handling of first-aid equipment and medical supplies.
• Able to maintain accurate first-aid treatment records, incident reports, and medical documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with the Safety Officer, Site Engineer, Company Nurse, and emergency responders.
• Willing to work on a construction site and follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Preferably with BOSH/COSH or other relevant occupational safety training.
• Reliable, alert, responsible, and able to remain calm during emergencies.
