ThinkUp Management Solutions, Inc. is seeking a First Aider to provide immediate medical assistance to injured or ill employees and support safety objectives in the workplace.
The role includes responding to emergencies, maintaining first aid supplies, coordinating with safety personnel and medical providers, and helping with accident prevention programs to ensure employee welfare.
The First Aider is responsible for providing immediate medical assistance and first aid treatment to injured or ill employees in the workplace. The position supports the company's health and safety objectives by responding to emergencies, assisting in accident prevention programs, maintaining first aid supplies, and coordinating with safety personnel and medical providers when necessary.
Preferably a College Graduate or Vocational Course Completer related to Health, Safety,
or Emergency Response (e.g., Nursing Assistant, EMT, Health Science, or equivalent
courses).
Must possess a valid First Aid Training Certificate issued by a DOH-accredited institution
or Philippine Red Cross training provider.
With valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation)
certification.
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), COSH, or BOSH certification is an advantage.
Refresher or re-training certifications must be updated every two (2) years in compliance
with DOLE and DOH standards.
Preferably with at least one (1) year of relevant experience in emergency response, medical
assistance, or site safety.
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or field operations is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in incident reporting, documentation, and basic medical record-keeping.
Capable of performing basic first aid procedures, including wound care, bandaging, fracture
immobilization, and CPR.
Able to respond effectively and efficiently during emergency situations.
Knowledgeable in emergency evacuation and safety procedures.
With good communication skills and able to coordinate with safety officers, nurses, and
Physically fit and capable of assisting injured personnel when necessary.
Calm, alert, and composed under pressure.
Responsible, trustworthy, and disciplined.
Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Team-oriented with a strong commitment to workplace safety and employee welfare.
Willing to work on-site and on shifting schedules.
Must comply with company safety protocols and proper PPE requirements.
Preferably with valid government-issued ID and medical clearance.
MUST HAVE RED CROSS CERTIFICATE
