Qualifications

• Valid First Aid certification recognized by Philippine authorities.

• Experience as a First Aider in construction or high-risk settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate first aid treatment to injured or unwell personnel on construction sites.

• Maintain and regularly check first aid kits and equipment to stay stocked.
• Document all incidents and treatments with accurate records.

About the role

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate First Aider to join our Health, Safety & Environment team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce across our construction operations. As First Aider, you will be the frontline responder for medical emergencies and injuries on site, providing immediate care and support to injured or unwell personnel whilst coordinating with emergency medical services when required. This role is essential to maintaining our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace and directly contributes to our organisation's safety performance and duty of care obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate first aid treatment to injured or unwell personnel on construction sites in accordance with established protocols and best practice standards
• Assess medical emergencies and determine appropriate response actions, including stabilization of casualties and escalation to emergency medical services
• Maintain and regularly check first aid kits, medical equipment and emergency supplies to ensure they are fully stocked and fit for purpose
• Document all incidents, injuries and first aid treatments provided, maintaining accurate records for reporting and analysis purposes
• Communicate effectively with site personnel, management and emergency responders to coordinate response efforts and ensure continuity of care
• Support the Health, Safety & Environment team in conducting first aid awareness and training sessions for site workers
• Identify potential hazards and unsafe practices that may result in injury or illness, and report these to site supervisors and the HSE team
• Assist with the investigation of accidents and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
• Remain calm and composed under pressure, providing reassurance and emotional support to affected individuals
• Maintain confidentiality

What we're looking for

• Valid First Aid certification or equivalent qualification recognized by the Philippine Health and Safety authorities
• At least High School Graduate
• Additional qualifications such as Occupational First Aid or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification are highly desirable
• Proven experience working as a First Aider, particularly within construction, manufacturing or other high-risk industries
• Strong knowledge of first aid principles, emergency response procedures and occupational health and safety regulations applicable in the Philippines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and reassuring in emergency situations
• Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to emergencies, including the capability to lift and move injured personnel when necessary

• Willing to be assigned to construction site operations
