Job summary

Atlantica Fire Safety Systems, Inc is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. You will contribute to the design, development and optimisation of fire safety systems and mechanical components, helping protect lives and assets while fostering our technical excellence.

You will generate calculations, drawings and BOMs, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with fire safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably in fire safety, HVAC, pumping systems or related industries.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent) and engineering analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and structural analysis.
• Familiarity with fire safety standards, building codes and regulatory requirements (NFPA, ISO or local Philippine standards).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex engineering challenges systematically.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or equivalent certification is advantageous; project management experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Generate flow calculations for fire suppression systems and hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems.
• Create drawings and layout designs for mechanical systems.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and related documentation.
• Document activities and ensure DPES compliance across projects.
• Utilize AUTOCADD for designing plans and layouts.
• Attend kick-off, weekly progress and project meetings as required.
• Submit technical specifications for client approval of installations and services.
• Execute projects and services and manage installation schedules.
