Atlantica Fire Safety Systems, Inc. is seeking an AutoCAD Draughtsperson to join our Paranaque office on a full-time basis.

You will translate engineering concepts into precise drawings for fire protection systems and support project delivery from concept to tender. You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams, maintain organized drawing files, and ensure compliance with building codes and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Engineering Drafting or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of engineering drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
• Knowledge of building codes and fire safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise drawings.
• Good communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

About the role

We are seeking a talented AutoCAD Draughtsperson to join our Engineering Drafting team on a full-time basis at our office in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a critical position within our organisation, where you will play an essential role in translating engineering concepts and designs into precise technical drawings and documentation. Your work will directly support the successful delivery of fire safety system projects, ensuring that all designs meet regulatory standards, client specifications and industry best practices. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, challenging projects whilst collaborating with experienced engineers and project teams.

What you'll be doing

• Creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software for fire safety system designs, including fire detection systems, sprinkler systems, alarm systems and emergency evacuation routes
• Converting preliminary sketches, design concepts and engineering specifications into comprehensive 2D and 3D CAD drawings
• Ensuring all drawings comply with relevant building codes, fire safety regulations, standards and client requirements
• Collaborating closely with senior engineers and project managers to clarify design intent and resolve technical issues
• Maintaining accurate and organised drawing files, version control and project documentation
• Revising and updating drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients and stakeholders
• Producing bills of materials, schedules and construction details to support project implementation
• Assisting in the preparation of project proposals and tender documentation where drafting expertise is required
• Keeping abreast of AutoCAD software updates, industry standards and best practices in engineering drafting

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) – this is essential for the role
• Diploma or certification in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in engineering drafting or a similar technical role
• Strong understanding of technical drawing conventions, standards and best practices
• Experience with fire safety systems, building services or mechanical/electrical systems design – preferred
• Knowledge of building codes, fire safety regulations and industry standards relevant to fire protection systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, professional-quality drawings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
