Job summary

Mynt's GCash division seeks a Security Operations Specialist to monitor security alerts, triage incidents, and document investigations. You will apply threat analysis, coordinate with stakeholders, and support containment and remediation efforts to protect fintech assets.

The role emphasizes collaboration, 24/7 readiness, and ongoing SOC process improvements in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in security monitoring, incident response, or SOC work.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK or comparable frameworks.
• Strong documentation and case-writing skills.
• Ability to analyze logs and investigate suspicious activity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts from SIEM or other tools.
• Triaging alerts by severity and evidence, closing or escalating as needed.
• Document investigations clearly for review and audits.
• Escalate cases when deeper response is required by stakeholders.
• Support containment, remediation, and coordination with teams.
• Identify false positives and contribute to SOC improvements.
