Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands seeks a Business Development Officer to assist the department head in achieving goals. You will lead DCG's exploration of new ecosystems, adoption of innovative use cases, and translate these into value-creating processes for the bank.

Additionally, you will develop strategic partnerships to offer value-generating engagements from DCG’s Open banking offering set and hand them over to receiving business groups after incubation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year business-related course; postgrad is an advantage.
• At least 2 years in Marketing, Product/Project Management, or Business Development.
• IT background and experience is a plus.
• Knowledge in Project Management is required.
• Proficient in oral and written communication.
• Able to apply sound problem-solving techniques to various situations.
• Good organizational skills and can work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Explores ecosystems and innovative use cases for the bank.
• Evaluates initiatives of government, financial industry players, and FinTechs for adoption.
• Adopts innovations into business processes to generate value for the enterprise.
• Creates business requirements and coordinates with Platforms, IT, and support groups.
• Manages temporary ownership of business ventures and transitions to receiving groups.
• Expands revenue streams by exploring new solutions for partners and business needs.
• Leads enhancements and integration monitoring.
• Reviews business requirements to ensure partner experience and oversees technical development.
• Addresses partner inquiries and resolves issues to ensure alignment with the bank.
