Job summary

Kaiyiee Global Talent is seeking a senior corporate lawyer to build the local compliance system for a fintech lender in Mexico City. You will design and implement the full compliance lifecycle from lending to collections, including regulatory filings and contract templates.

The role requires experience with Mexican regulatory regimes and cross-border coordination with headquarters. Hybrid work in Mexico City is offered with a fast-growing fintech mandate.

Qualifications

• Mexican law degree with active license.
• 5+ years of corporate legal or law firm experience in banking/credit/SOFOM.
• Fluent in Spanish or English; able to work cross-border.
• Ability to draft contracts independently and conduct legal research.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate governance and local entity compliance (SOFOM).
• Liaise with regulatory registrations (CNBV, CONDUSEF) and filings.
• Lead lending and collections compliance programs across the credit lifecycle.
• Manage data privacy compliance (LFPDPPP) and consumer protection matters.
• Draft and review bilingual (Spanish/English) contracts; support employment matters.
• Coordinate with headquarters on regulatory updates and AML risks.
