Job summary

GCash in the Philippines is seeking a leader for Policy Development & Regulatory Compliance to design and implement accounting policy frameworks for digital products like e-wallets and digital assets.

You will collaborate with Product, Legal, Risk, and IT to assess regulatory implications, offer guidance on complex transactions, and support training and automation while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed CPA in the Philippines (required).
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting policy, technical accounting, financial audit, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience in fintech, digital banking, e-money issuers, or payment service providers is strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of PFRS, BSP regulations, and BIR/SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Policy Development & Implementation: design and maintain robust accounting policy frameworks for digital products.
• Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring: apply BSP circulars, BIR regulations, and SEC rules for reporting.
• Technical Accounting Advisory: provide guidance on complex transactions and digital assets.
• Training & Capacity Building: conduct regular training for Finance, Operations, and Product teams.
