Job summary

SM Development Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator to support civil construction projects in Davao City. You will assist the Project Manager in monitoring unit deliverables, coordinating with contractors, and preparing turnover documents.

The role requires a Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management degree, 5 years' experience, strong organization and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, engineering, or project supervision.
• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic scheduling software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to be mentored into higher project leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress of unit deliverables for residential, parking, and common areas.
• Support the preparation, verification, and submission of turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on day-to-day project activities.
• Track progress reports, cost updates, and scope changes for endorsement to the Project Manager.
• Prepare draft project reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for review and submission.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Assist in identifying risks/issues and elevate to the Project Manager for resolution.
• Perform assigned tasks and provide administrative and technical support for smooth project execution.
