Job summary

SM Development Corporation in Pasay, Metro Manila, is seeking a Project Assistant/Supervisor to support the Project Manager in monitoring deliverables for residential, parking, and common areas. You will coordinate with contractors, track progress, and prepare reports for review.

The role requires a Civil/Construction background, with 5+ years in construction or project supervision, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional License (Civil Engineer or Architect) is an advantage but not strictly required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, engineering, or project supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic scheduling software.
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to be mentored into higher project leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress of unit deliverables for residential, parking, and common areas.
• Support the preparation, verification, and submission of turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on day-to-day project activities.
• Track progress reports, cost updates, and scope changes for endorsement to the Project Manager.
• Prepare draft project reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for review and submission.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Assist in identifying risks/issues and elevate to the Project Manager for resolution.
• Perform assigned tasks and provide administrative and technical support for smooth project execution.
