Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to maintain and optimize our financial ERP systems while leading a team of branch accountants. You will set up COA structures, oversee intercompany transactions, and support consolidation and standard reporting for leadership.

Your Role

As a Financial Systems Manager, you will:

Be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our financial ERP systems while leading a team of branch accountants. This role requires expert-level mastery of ERP system administration—particularly setting up chart of accounts, cost centers, and handling intercompany transactions—supported by a solid working/basic foundation in general accounting concepts and group consolidation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Systems Administration & Architecture (Expert Level)

• Act as the functional lead for ERP financial systems, with the ability to navigate and manage multiple ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

• Lead the design, setup, and maintenance of Chart of Accounts (COA) and cost center structures within the ERP.

• Oversee and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations directly within the ERP system.

2. Intercompany & Group Accounting (Expert / Core Focus)

• Manage complex intercompany transactions and ensure accurate monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts across group entities.

• Support basic group financial statement consolidation processes.

3. General Accounting & Branch Supervision

• Directly manage, guide, and motivate a team of branch accountants, ensuring alignment on daily workflows and targets.

• Apply basic knowledge of GAAP principles, accounting standards, sub-ledgers, and general accounting practices to oversee daily operations.

• Support routine functional areas as needed, including Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll accounting, and tax accounting.

4. Data & Reporting

• Utilize expert Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Build standard PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial and system updates to leadership.

What You Need

ERP Expertise: Advanced/Expert knowledge of ERP financial systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred) and experience working across multiple ERP platforms.

Accounting Foundation

• Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and general accounting standards.
• Good understanding of general accounting and sub-ledgers.
• Basic knowledge of group financial statement consolidation.
• Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll accounting, and tax accounting.

Core Strengths: Expert in intercompany account reconciliations, setup of Chart of Accounts, and cost center management.

Technical Skills

Expert in Microsoft Excel; fair/proficient knowledge in building Microsoft PowerPoint decks.

Leadership

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of branch accountants in a collaborative environment.
