MicroSourcing, a growing manufacturing organization, seeks an experienced Senior Controller to lead the accounting function, oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination. Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Experience as Controller or in an equivalent senior role.
• Master's degree in Accounting is required.
• Extensive experience with financial reporting and audits.
• Strong governance, internal controls, and cost accounting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, close processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory, cost accounting.
• Directly manage the Accounting Manager and report to ownership.
• Lead financial audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors and regulators.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accurate, timely reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis.
• Drive process improvements and accounting efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Controller to serve as the senior‑most accounting leader within our growing manufacturing organization. This individual will oversee the company's accounting function, financial reporting, internal controls, audit coordination, and provide direct financial leadership and reporting to ownership. This is a high‑responsibility leadership role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, leadership maturity, professionalism, and executive‑level communication skills. The ideal candidate must be capable of effectively managing and collaborating with an experienced Accounting Manager with over 20 years of accounting experience.

This is a fully remote position based in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including:
  • General ledger management
  • Month‑end and year‑end close
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Account reconciliations
  • AP/AR oversight
  • Fixed assets
  • Inventory accounting
  • Cost accounting and manufacturing accounting functions
• Directly manage and oversee the Accounting Manager
• Serve as the primary accounting lead reporting directly to ownership
• Lead all financial audit preparation and coordination with external auditors, CPA firms, banks, insurance providers, and regulatory agencies
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reporting
• Assist ownership with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash management
• Drive accounting process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Maintain compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in senior accounting leadership roles
• Candidate must have previously held the title of:
  • Controller, or
  • A position of equal or greater seniority/responsibility
• Master's Degree in Accounting required
• Strong manufacturing and/or inventory‑based accounting experience preferred
• Extensive experience with:
  • Financial reporting
  • General ledger management
  • Internal controls
  • Cost accounting
  • Financial audits
  • Month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Demonstrated experience managing senior‑level accounting personnel
• Strong executive communication and organizational skills
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
