Job Overview

The Finance Controller leads the organization's financial controllership functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting and forecasting, strong internal controls, and sound financial governance. This role provides strategic financial insights to support business decisions, safeguard company assets, optimize working capital, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, consolidations, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Review and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of financial statements and management reports.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and variance analysis initiatives.
• Monitor budget utilization and provide recommendations on cost control and resource optimization.
• Oversee revenue recording, billing, collections, cash management, disbursements, and working capital performance.
• Maintain cash flow forecasts and identify funding requirements and financial risks.
• Develop and strengthen internal financial controls, governance frameworks, and compliance processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Analyze financial performance, profitability, operational costs, and key business drivers to support executive decision-making.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO, CFO, and Executive Committee.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance teams while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required/preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, controllership, or audit functions.
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, working capital management, and internal controls.
• Experience managing audits, compliance requirements, and enterprise-level financial governance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, dashboards, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights and recommendations to senior executives.
