Job summary

ANZ is seeking a Financial Control Specialist in Makati to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves leading centralized Finance Control processes, collaborating with onshore and external auditors, and driving continuous improvement within the finance function.

The position is permanent, full-time in a Manila-based team, with dayshift hours and a focus on governance, risk, and control enhancements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with annual financial statement preparation and submission.
• Interest in process re-engineering and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in preparation and review of Annual Financial Statements with notes and schedules.
• Act as SME for centralized Finance Control processes and ensure standardized execution in Manila.
• Coordinate with onshore and external auditors; interface with stakeholders on month-end matters.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and centralization initiatives.
