Job summary

MicroSourcing in Eastwood, Quezon City, Philippines, is hiring a Financial Accounting Specialist for a hybrid, day-shift role. You will prepare monthly P&L and balance sheets for the Group and support management with financial presentations.

You will reconcile balance sheets, prepare BAS for AU/NZ, assist audits, and act as the first point of contact for daily queries. The role offers competitive rewards and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
• Assist with preparing financial presentations for monthly management meetings.
• Reconcile and present all balance sheet accounts for review by the Group Financial Controller monthly.
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements across Australia and New Zealand for review by the Group Financial Controller.
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with Annual Audit preparation and data sample collection as required by the external auditors.
• Be the first point of contact for daily queries from the business or from within the team (when required).
• Assist to develop and drive process improvement strategies within finance and across the business.
• Assist with detailed analysis of the business projects and business performance when required.
• Ad hoc projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller or the Senior Financial Accountant.

Your Role

The Financial Accounting Specialist (Philippines) is accountable for:

• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for the Group per the agreed month end timetable
• Assist with preparing Financial presentations for monthly management meetings for the Director's and Leadership team
• Reconcile and present all balance sheet accounts for review by the Group Financial Controller monthly
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements across Australia and New Zealand for review by the Group Financial Controller
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with Annual Audit preparation and data sample collection as required by the external auditors.
• Be the first point of contact for daily queries from the business or from within the team (when required).
