Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable leader in the Philippines to drive end-to-end AP processes, optimize controls, and lead multi-functional teams across a multinational shared services environment.

The role focuses on optimizing P2P workflows, improving KPIs, and partnering with finance, procurement, and operations to strengthen working capital and supplier relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Shared Services, or related finance operations environments.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, including managing supervisors, team leads, or multiple functional teams.
• Experience in end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including invoice processing, payments, supplier management, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, GRNI management, month-end close support, and AP controls.
• Proven experience leading large teams within a shared services or multinational environment.
• Experience driving process improvement, standardization, automation, system implementations, migrations, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience partnering with business unit finance leaders, procurement, operations, treasury, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong track record of delivering operational excellence, improving KPIs, strengthening controls, and leading organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Organizational Management: Directs AP operations, coaches supervisors, establishes goals, and drives talent development, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Operational Excellence & Service Delivery: Oversees end-to-end AP processes, monitors KPIs, and resolves critical supplier/operational issues.
• Process Improvement & Transformation: Drives continuous improvement roadmaps, automations, ERP optimizations, and process migrations.
• Governance, Compliance & Controls: Ensures adherence to policies, accounting standards, and SOX; supports audits and reviews high-risk transactions.
• Stakeholder & Business Partnership: Builds relationships with plant controllers, procurement, and suppliers to improve working capital and supplier payment experience.
• Reporting & Strategic Insights: Develops executive-level operational reviews, KPI dashboards, and data-driven recommendations.
• Financial Stewardship: Supports working capital goals via payment practices, invoice efficiency, and month-end close activities.
• Policy & Decision Making: Exercises independent judgment on strategic priorities and risk management.
