Finance Supervisor (With Tax Compliance Exp)

As a Finance Supervisor supporting our Philippine operations, you’ll play a key role inmaintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, andsupporting day‑to‑day financial operations.
This role isideal for someone who is detail‑driven, organised, and confident handlingfinancial operations with expertise in PH Tax requirements and procedures.
What You’llDo
- Prepare payrollsummaries and journal entries to ensure accuracy before submission for management review
- Supervise the payrolldisbursement to ensure accuracy.
- Provide hands‑on guidance and ongoing support to junior finance staff to maintain payrollaccuracy, compliance, and consistency
- Monitor statutory and internal compliance deadlines, ensuring all filings and payments are completed on time and properly documented
- Manage the month-endclosing of the books of accounts, and coordinate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and open balances
- Maintain complete, well‑organised, and audit‑ready financial records and supporting documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, financial procedures, and company policies
- Support the preparation and submission of required reports to government agencies (BIR, PEZA, SEC) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and documentation to support internal and external audit requirements
- Identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement, and elevate findings with clear recommendations to the Finance Supervisor
- Assist in both internal and external tax audits and compliance related requirements; coordinating documentation and providing recommendations to the Finance Supervisor
- Act as a point of support and escalation for junior finance staff, helping build capability, accuracy, and confidence within the team
Requirements
What We’reLooking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any business‑related course
- At least 3 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in a BPO or shared services environment
- Solid working knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, government regulations, especially tax requirements
- Experience using accounting software is a strong advantage
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks
