Job summary

Inter-Medical Unified Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior accountant to prepare internal and external financial reports, ensure GAAP compliance, and assist with budgeting and tax filings. The role requires strong Excel skills and leadership capabilities.

The successful candidate will manage multiple reports with tight deadlines and contribute to strategic planning under the supervision of the Finance leadership. Located in Cavite, Philippines, on-site work expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 5+ years in accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP, macros).
• CPA or CMA encouraged.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal financial reports and operating metrics for the Operations group, Board of Directors and other users of the reports
• Prepare external financial statements using GAAP and regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC)
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and attachments (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, LGU tax)
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forward plans needed by Management
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior

• Prepare external financial statements using generally accepted accounting principles, in compliance with statutory regulations such as BIR and SEC

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and attachments, such as income tax, value added tax, withholding tax, local government tax

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forward plans needed by Management

• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

• 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, macros)

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple reports and deadlines

• Proactive, results-driven attitude and ability to work independently

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) encouraged
