Job summary

Toyota Alabang, Inc. (TAI) is seeking a senior finance professional to lead accounting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. The role requires a CPA and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and leadership abilities to drive cross-function collaboration.

You will oversee month-end close, cash management, and audits, while implementing process improvements and ensuring timely management reporting. On-site work in the Manila area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 5-10 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements, legal compliance and consolidation.
• Strong understanding of accounting and management principles and financial legislation.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Responsibilities

• Forecasting, budgeting, variances analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with national and local governing entities (BIR, SEC, LGU, SSS, PhilHealth).
• Coordinate periodic reconciliation with Accounting and HR.
• Report to Management on the financial position.
• Oversee daily cash positioning and secure funds.
• Evaluate bank cash management services and propose improvements.
• Establish and maintain bank relationships and ensure bank compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Finance and Accounting Management criteria.
• Provide timely feedback to Management for informed decisions.
• Oversee department work to achieve goals.
• Identify opportunities and implement business process improvements.
• Foster a high-performing finance team through coaching and evaluations.
• Check and oversee all reports, schedules, payments and receipts.
• Lead month-end close and general ledger recording.
• Collaborate with auditors to facilitate audits and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and drive growth.
• Provide insight on special projects and workflow improvements.

• Work cross functionally to comply with forecasting requirements, prepare annual budget, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with requirements of national and local governing entities (e.g. BIR, SEC, Local Government, SSS, PhilHealth, etc.).
• Coordinate and perform periodic reconciliation with Accounting and Human Resources Departments.
• Reports to Management on the financial position and
• Oversee daily cash positioning and provide support to ensure that funds are secured.
• Evaluate performance of Cash Management services provided by bank partners (e.g. check writing system, deposit pick up/ deposit machine, check scanner, etc.). Recommend improvements to Management, when necessary.
• Establish and maintain strong bank relationships. Ensure compliance with bank requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all criteria under Finance and Accounting Management.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback to Management to assist them in making informed decisions.
• Oversee department work to ensure that department goals are achieved.
• Identify opportunities and implement business process improvements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the department and economize resources.
• Foster a high-performing finance team through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Check and oversee all reports, schedules, payments and receipts of the department.
• Lead the month-end close process including the review and accurate recording of activities to the general ledger.
• Collaborate with auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 5-10 years of experience in accounting/ finance
• Experience with financial reporting requirements, legal compliance and consolidation
• Strong understanding of accounting and management principles and financial legislation.
