Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking a Finance professional to develop, maintain, and strengthen accounting policies and internal controls in line with regulatory and corporate requirements.

You will provide technical accounting advisory on complex matters, lead assessments of new IFRS standards, and collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, and Operations to resolve issues and drive process improvements. Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards; IFRS 17/9 experience a plus.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen Finance policies, operating guidelines, and internal controls.
• Provide technical accounting advisory on complex matters including financial reporting and policy development.
• Lead impact assessments and implement new or amended accounting and sustainability standards.
• Partner with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Support Finance initiatives such as vendor assessments, system implementations, and other projects requiring accounting expertise.
