Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field. CPA required.
• Experience in corporate finance, audit, or shared services; shipping/logistics is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards or IFRS and regulatory compliance.
• Strong record-to-report skills and month-/year-end closing expertise.
• Proficient in ERP/financial systems and advanced MS Excel; process automation is a plus.
• Experience leading a finance team with coaching and performance monitoring.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Role Description:

The Finance Manager (Record-to-Report) oversees end-to-end financial reporting processes, including general ledger management, period-end closing, and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements. This role manages the reconciliation of accounts, monitoring of accruals and provisions, and ensures compliance with relevant financial reporting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, supports audits, and drives continuous improvement in record-to-report processes and controls. Responsibilities also include supervising a finance team, reviewing journal entries, and implementing best practices in financial systems and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Manila.

Qualifications:

• Strong record-to-report expertise, including general ledger management, month-end and year-end closing, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., Philippine Financial Reporting Standards or IFRS) and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP or financial systems, advanced MS Excel skills, and familiarity with process automation and controls.
• Demonstrated people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification is required.
• Relevant experience in corporate finance, audit, or shared services; experience in shipping, logistics, or related industries is an advantage.
• Must be amenable to fully on-site work set up from Mondays-Fridays 08:00AM - 06:40PM (compressed work week schedule)
