Ensures that accounting transactions are recorded in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Provides timely financial reports.
Ensures that financial transactions are properly authorized.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
Handles cases with relevant tax authorities.
Manages the Finance Department and its personnel.
Ensures the preparation of monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations for assigned companies/subsidiaries.
Prepares ad hoc financial reports and studies as required by Management.
Ensures adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Ensures the preparation of year-end financial audit requirements for assigned companies/subsidiaries.
Ensures timely submission of monthly government statutory reports for assigned companies/subsidiaries.
Ensures proper filing and documentation systems for external review and evaluation of assigned companies/subsidiaries.
Ensures that all transactions are properly authorized and compliant with policies and procedures.
Ensures that receivables of assigned companies/subsidiaries are collected on time.
Ensures that payables of assigned companies/subsidiaries are paid on time.
Ensures that all corporate funds are properly accounted for.
Refers all potential tax concerns of assigned companies/subsidiaries to the Chief Finance Officer.
Refers internal control concerns of assigned companies/subsidiaries to the Chief Finance Officer.
Refers operational concerns regarding assigned subsidiaries to the Chief Operating Officer.
Monitors the performance of Accountants and Accounting Clerks.
Oversees the training and development of accounting staff.
College degree preferably with Major in Accounting, Business or Finance. CPA licensure is preferable.
At least five (5) years experience in finance-related work in either a Supervisory or Managerial Capacity.
