Private Advertiser in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, seeks a Finance Manager, a top management role overseeing financial operations, planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and risk management. CPA and SAP proficiency are required.

The Finance Manager is a key/top management position responsible for overseeing core financial operations and providing strategic financial direction to management. The role covers financial reporting, compliance, planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and cash management, internal controls, tax, and financial risk management.
The position plays a critical role in managing working capital, inventory and costing, supplier and banking relationships, project profitability, cash flow, and overall financial performance within a dynamic, high-volume business environment.
Working closely with owners/top management and cross-functional teams—including Procurement, Operations, Sales, Logistics, and Supply Chain—the Finance Manager provides financial insights and recommendations that support profitability, operational efficiency, sound decision-making, and sustainable growth.
CPA and proficiency in SAP are required, with SAP used for financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, month-end closing, and operational transactions.
Assist in the development of short-term and annual financial plans and budgets aligned with business objectives
Prepare revenue, expense, and cash flow forecasts
Analyze financial trends and provide insights and recommendations to management
Provide financial insights to support management decisions relating to procurement, inventory, pricing, projects, and business expansion
Support management in evaluating the financial impact of major commercial and operational decisions
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses using SAP and related reporting tools
Monitor actual financial performance versus budget and analyze variances
Recommend adjustments to financial plans based on business conditions
Monitor profitability, margins, operating costs, and financial performance across business activities
Provide management with timely analysis of financial performance and key business drivers
Utilize SAP for financial reporting, month-end closing, and data analysis
Oversee the preparation and review of internal and external financial reports
Ensure accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and reporting requirements
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across the organization
Provide management with reliable financial reports, analysis, and business insights
Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations
Coordinate with banks on day-to-day banking requirements
Monitor loans, credit facilities, and related obligations
Manage working capital requirements considering purchases, supplier payments, project requirements, collections, and operating expenses
Monitor cash requirements related to procurement, logistics, and major business transactions
Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions
Identify and monitor key financial risks such as credit, liquidity, and currency risks
Support the implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measures
Ensure adequate insurance coverage is maintained
Assess financial risks associated with major suppliers, customers, projects, contracts, and business transactions
Monitor foreign exchange exposure arising from international transactions
Monitor operating expenses and support cost-efficiency initiatives
Conduct financial and cost-benefit analyses for projects and initiatives
Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets
Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures
Strengthen controls over inventory, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and other financial assets
Monitor costing and other cost components affecting profitability
Work closely with operations and procurement to identify opportunities for cost optimization
Review and evaluate capital expenditure requests and investment proposals
Analyze financial viability, risks, and expected returns
Monitor approved capital projects against budgets and targets
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management regarding major investments, expansion initiatives, equipment, facilities, and other capital requirements
Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns
Coordinate with tax authorities, external tax consultants, and auditors
Assist in handling tax audits, assessments, and Letters of Authority (LOA)
Support tax-efficient practices while maintaining full compliance
Ensure proper tax treatment of business transactions, procurement activities, projects, and other major financial transactions
As a top management position, the Finance Manager is also expected to:
Act as a strategic financial partner to the owners and senior management
Translate financial data into actionable business recommendations
Participate in management discussions involving profitability, pricing, procurement, inventory, expansion, and investments
Establish and strengthen financial policies, systems, controls, and processes appropriate for the company’s growth
Provide management with timely visibility on cash position, profitability, working capital, and financial risks
Partner closely with Procurement, Operations, Sales, Logistics, and Supply Chain
Evaluate the financial implications of major supplier arrangements, purchasing decisions, project contracts, and commercial opportunities
Help ensure that growth is supported by sound cash flow, working capital, and financial controls
Support management in building a scalable finance function as the company continues to grow
Lead and develop the finance/accounting team and promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, integrity, and financial discipline
8-10 years of finance experience, including leadership and strategic exposure
Background in FMCG, retail, distribution, manufacturing, trading, or other inventory-driven businesses preferred
Hands-on experience with SAP is required
Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and financial controls
Experience handling BIR audits, LOAs, banks, and external auditors
Exposure to high-volume, inventory-driven operations is an advantage
Experience with inventory costing, procurement, supplier payments, and working capital management is highly preferred
Experience in companies with international suppliers or cross-border transactions is an advantage
Experience handling project-based or large-volume contracts is an advantage
Experience working closely with owners, executives, or senior management in a privately held company is preferred
Strong commercial and business acumen, beyond technical accounting and compliance
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
CPA is required
Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage
