Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Metro Manila to oversee financial planning, reporting, and portfolio analysis within the lending and financial services space.

You will manage budgeting, cash flow, controls, and collaborate with Accounting, Credit, Risk, Treasury, and Operations to provide insights and drive business decisions.

A CPA or similar certification is advantageous, and the role requires 5+ years of relevant leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of Finance/Accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong experience in loan portfolio, lending, financing, or financial services.
• Solid understanding of loan accounting, portfolio reporting, cash flow management, and controls.
• CPA or other relevant professional certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Monitor and analyze the loan portfolio, including receivables, collections, income, and provisions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Analyze financial and portfolio data to identify trends, risks, variances, and opportunities.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, funding requirements, and working capital.
• Ensure accurate accounting of loans, interest income, fees, provisions, and related transactions.
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and accounting policies.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Operations, Credit, Risk, Treasury and other departments on financial matters.
• Support audits, regulatory requirements, and compliance activities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for planning and decision-making.
