Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Assurance in the Philippines. You will manage a sizeable client portfolio, oversee engagement finances and resources, and mentor junior staff while strengthening client relationships.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 5+ years of experience, strong IFRS or UK GAAP knowledge, and proven project leadership. Excellent English communication, risk management, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A CPA with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP.
• Project management, leadership, coaching and supervisory skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to build a positive work culture and client relationships.
• Ability to quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues within and outside Philippines.
• Financial Services industry experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with key engagement team contacts (engagement managers and project managers).
• Understand Client's Risk Management procedures and embed them in the team's work.
• Transition new engagements and services to Assurance while maintaining quality of service.
• Proactively discuss workflow management with engagement teams and allocate resources accordingly.
• Demonstrate professionalism and clarity of communication with GDS and engagement teams.
• Establish expectations regarding value delivered to engagement teams and clients.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize Assurance processes across a client portfolio.
• Contribute to people development by coaching and mentoring team members.
• Lead by example and delegate tasks effectively.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and provide feedback and training.
