Job summary

The Australia Awards Philippines program is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial management and administrative functions, reporting to the Program and Partnerships Director. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, expenditure monitoring and financial reporting to DFAT and Tetra Tech.

You will work with program leaders, DFAT, partners and delivery teams to ensure transparent, compliant systems that support decision-making and value for money.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting and program administration, including budgeting, financial reporting and audit support.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, internal controls, compliance and risk management in complex programs.
• Fluency in English and Filipino languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead Australia Awards Philippines financial management, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor performance against budgets and provide analysis for decision-making and disclosure to DFAT and Tetra Tech.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information, records and coding.
• Oversee cash flow, payroll, tax and other core financial functions.
• Maintain internal controls and risk management across program activities.
• Coordinate financial audit and assurance processes and improve policies and procedures.
• Provide financial advice to leadership on contracts, grants and resource allocation.
