Job summary

Oxfam Pilipinas is seeking a strategic finance leader to drive financial management, risk controls, budgeting, and reporting across the organization and partner networks. The role requires a BS Accountancy, GAAP knowledge, and 5–7 years of senior financial management experience.

You will oversee annual budgeting, month-end close, donor compliance, and financial analysis tools; lead audits and anti-fraud initiatives; and support program teams with finance guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GAAP, and statutory requirements.
• Five to seven years of senior financial management experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and governance.
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills; able to develop performance.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Filipino communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversees financial controls, risk management, and compliance with donor and statutory requirements.
• Leads budgeting, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes and audits.
• Develops tools for budgeting, monitoring income and expenses, and variance analysis.
• Ensures donor reporting accuracy and timely submission of reports.
• Manages outsourced accounting services and tax returns.
• Supports partner organizations with financial management training and due diligence.
• Leads anti-fraud initiatives and maintains delegation of authority and signing lists.
