• 5–7 years of progressive financial management or accounting experience.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including AP, AR, and GL maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for senior management.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

About the role

Global Agro Milling Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join our organisation on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, where you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations and supporting the company's growth objectives. As Finance Manager, you will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis to ensure the organisation maintains robust financial health and complies with all regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic business decisions
• Overseeing financial compliance and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Managing cash flow and working capital to optimise liquidity and financial efficiency
• Supervising and mentoring finance team members to ensure high performance and professional development
• Conducting financial analysis and variance investigations to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
• Liaising with external auditors and preparing documentation for audits and compliance reviews
• Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and financial processes
• Supporting capital expenditure planning and investment analysis projects

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or equivalent recognised credential
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing or agribusiness environment
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (IFRS/GAAP), and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance team members effectively
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
