Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA certification preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MYOB, and financial analysis tools.
• Strong cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and inventory management background.
• 5-8 years in Finance & Accounting, manufacturing/FMCG preferred.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

About the role

The Finance Plant Manager leads financial operations at the plant level, overseeing monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. This role partners with plant management to drive financial performance, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory reconciliations
• Ensure accurate recording of plant transactions and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Partner with plant management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational performance
• Review product costing and recommend actions to improve margins and profitability
• Manage the plant's annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
• Monitor capital expenditures and evaluate financial feasibility of plant projects
• Lead and develop the plant finance team and promote continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, CPA is a must
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MYOB and financial analysis tools
• Strong background in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and inventory management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• At least 5-8 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work effectively with plant operations and cross-functional teams
