Our Clients is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and control functions for a manufacturing/FMCG environment. The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, cost management and business partnering to improve profitability.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–8 years of Finance/Accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, and a strong cost accounting background. This is an onsite, dayshift opportunity supporting senior management decisions.

Qualificações

• 5–8 years of Finance/Accounting experience with 3+ years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Solid background in Manufacturing or FMCG industries.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting experience.
• Cost accounting, product costing, inventory and manufacturing‑related processes understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Lead annual budget, forecasts, and periodic financial plans.
• Analyze actuals vs budget/forecast and explain variances to management.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, margins and cost variances for pricing/production decisions.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management reports and dashboards.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and other functions to drive business decisions.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, receivables/payables, and inventory levels.
• Lead and develop the Finance team and set performance standards.

Job Description:

The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial planning, reporting, analysis, and control functions, providing accurate financial insights to support business decisions and drive overall profitability.

The ideal candidate has solid Finance/Accounting experience within the Manufacturing or FMCG industry, with strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost management, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and periodic financial plans.

Analyze actual financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key variances and business drivers.

Develop financial models, projections, and scenario analyses to support management decision-making.

Manufacturing & Cost Finance

Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, production costs, and other operating expenses.

Analyze product costs, margins, profitability, and cost variances to support pricing and production decisions.

Review inventory movements, production costs, wastage, and other manufacturing-related financial metrics.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual management financial reports.

Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations highlighting business performance and financial trends.

Provide meaningful analysis of financial results and explain significant variances to management.

Business Partnering

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other functions to understand business performance and financial drivers.

Provide financial guidance and insights for commercial and operational initiatives.

Evaluate the financial impact of new products, promotions, pricing strategies, capital expenditures, and other business initiatives.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory levels.

Analyze working capital trends and recommend actions to improve cash conversion.

Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.

Team Leadership

Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team to ensure effective delivery of financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities.

Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and work standards for the team.

Review team outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA or Non-CPA candidates may be considered.
• At least 5–8 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience, with at least 3 years experience at a supervisory or managerial level.
• Strong background in the Manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, product costing, inventory, and manufacturing‑related financial processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.
