The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial planning, reporting, analysis, and control functions, providing accurate financial insights to support business decisions and drive overall profitability.
The ideal candidate has solid Finance/Accounting experience within the Manufacturing or FMCG industry, with strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost management, and business partnering.
Lead the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and periodic financial plans.
Analyze actual financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key variances and business drivers.
Develop financial models, projections, and scenario analyses to support management decision-making.
Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, production costs, and other operating expenses.
Analyze product costs, margins, profitability, and cost variances to support pricing and production decisions.
Review inventory movements, production costs, wastage, and other manufacturing-related financial metrics.
Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual management financial reports.
Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations highlighting business performance and financial trends.
Provide meaningful analysis of financial results and explain significant variances to management.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other functions to understand business performance and financial drivers.
Provide financial guidance and insights for commercial and operational initiatives.
Evaluate the financial impact of new products, promotions, pricing strategies, capital expenditures, and other business initiatives.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory levels.
Analyze working capital trends and recommend actions to improve cash conversion.
Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team to ensure effective delivery of financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities.
Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and work standards for the team.
Review team outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
