Job summary

Be Global E-Commerce Corporation in the Philippines seeks an detail-oriented accounting assistant to monitor daily financial transactions, assist in tax compliance, and support the finance team with reporting.

You will review financial records, assist in preparing and filing tax returns and work papers for corporations and individuals, help with payables, payroll processing, and cash deposits, and coordinate with the Finance Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in business or accounting required.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and tax practices.
• Working knowledge with accounting and database software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High numerical aptitude.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the companies comply with BIR regulations and meet the tax obligations.
• Assist in minimizing tax liabilities by implementing tax reduction strategies.
• Assist in reviewing financial records, income statements, and expenditures.
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns and work papers for corporations and individuals.
• Researching tax issues and assisting with tax audits.
• Consulting with the Finance & Audit Department & External Accountants, reviewing the tax information, and responding to questions and concerns.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date companies’ records.
• Assist in calculating expenses, payables, etc.
• Assist in preparing and processing paychecks and cash deposits.
• Assist in the necessary tasks assigned by the Finance Manager together with the Tax, AP, Disbursement & Treasury Staff.
