RZ Ecommerce Corporation is seeking an Accounting Associate in the Philippines to maintain accurate financial records and support reconciliations in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

You will post journal entries, manage general ledger accounts, and assist with tax schedules while ensuring compliance and timely reporting. The role emphasizes transactional integrity and careful documentation rather than full consolidation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years in bookkeeping, general accounting, reconciliations, or finance operations preferred.
• Experience with journal entries, general ledger, and inventory transactions.
• Familiar with Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
• Timely, accurate work with deadlines and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Record and post accurate journal entries based on transactions.
• Ensure entries are valid and properly supported.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Prepare periodic entries such as depreciation, amortization, and prepayments.
• Process bank transactions and reconcile items.
• Perform account reconciliations (cash, bank, receivables, payables).
• Maintain schedules for balance sheet accounts.
• Identify reconciling items and variances.
• Assist in tax schedules and compliance.
• Support departmental cost tracking.
• Coordinate with Finance for reporting and analysis.
• Periodically audit warehouse inventory for accuracy.
• Ensure documentation and audit trails.
• Apply proper cut-off and classification.
• Ensure accuracy of assigned financial data.
