Job summary

ADP is seeking a Finance Governance – Lead Accountant to support the design and migration of the Global COA. You will analyze data across NA, EMEA, APAC and guide mapping to the new Code Block, collaborating with project teams to transform accounting processes.

You will work with multiple finance areas to document reporting requirements, participate in change management communications, and ensure SOX controls are assessed and maintained during the transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance/Management Accounting, or related fields; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience range 3 to 5 years in finance/process Improvement or Shared Service.
• Experience with Oracle / Hyperion FCCS and Financial Close processes.
• Willingness to work night shift.

• Governance of Global COA definitions, hierarchies and values.
• Global FDMEE Location owners for mapping updates.
• Updates to oracle sub-ledgers, primary/secondary ledgers, Hyperion Planning, FCCS.
• Align and implement changes for all GLs globally.

Job description

Finance Governance – Lead Accountant. This position reports directly to the Manager for Finance Governance and will be responsible for supporting aspects of the design and migration from ADP's current Chart of Accounts (COA) structure to one single Global COA.

This individual will need to analyze data in North America, EMEA, and APAC charts and provide insights and recommendations and implementing rationalization opportunities of the current chart.

He/she will also be responsible for assisting in obtaining the requirements for the future Code Block and mapping the current code block to the new Code Block. He/she will also work with the project team leaders in transforming accounting processes.

This person will be working with multiple finance & accounting areas to understand and document reporting/accounting requirements and ensure that these are included in the design of the Code Block and future GL processes.

This person will be responsible for contributing to the change management and communications throughout the initiative.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

To Succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance/Management Accounting, or related fields; advanced degree preferred
• Experience Range: 3 to 5 years
• Work experience in Business Process or Shared Service, Financial Systems or Functional Process (Oracle / Hyperion with Financial Close and Consolidations “FCCS” experience preferred)
• Financial acumen with Consolidation, FP&A or Financial Close Cycle to be able support
• Able to work on night shift.
