Manila Recruitment in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking a Finance Director (US GAAP, US client, project-based accounting) to lead financial operations across multiple entities and support rapid growth with robust controls and unified reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of finance leadership, hands-on US GAAP, M&A/post-merger experience, and a proven ability to build scalable systems, provide actionable insights, and partner with operations to improve profitability and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership, accounting, FP&A, controllership, or related roles.
• Proven experience managing and analyzing P&L performance; legitimate P&L management experience is required.
• Prior hands-on experience with U.S. accounting practices and U.S. GAAP, including familiarity with U.S. financial reporting, month-end close, and applicable compliance expectations.
• Proven M&A and post-merger integration experience, including involvement in integrating accounting functions of acquired companies.
• Experience supporting or working with a U.S.-based company, particularly in a multi-entity or international environment
• Experience with project-based accounting, including project costing, profitability, margin analysis, and/or revenue recognition.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proven ability to build scalable systems and processes.
• Hands-on, adaptable leadership style suited to a dynamic, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations across a multi-entity international structure.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial models to support rapid growth.
• Provide the executive team and stakeholders with clear, actionable financial insights.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Integrate finance systems, chart of accounts, controls, and reporting practices following an acquisition or merger.
• Lead post-merger integration and alignment with external partners.
• Work with Zoho, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and Salesforce to support reporting and data alignment.
