Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. seeks a Finance Director / Group Financial Controller to own the day-to-day finance function with a sharp focus on compliance and accuracy.

This hands-on role thrives in a fast-moving environment and ensures filings, records, and reporting are completed on time and correctly. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and US GAAP, is tech-savvy with financial systems, and can lead in a lean startup/scale-up setting while familiarizing crypto accounting

Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting, audit, or financial control.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and filings.
• Tech-savvy with financial systems/tools.
• Startup/scale-up experience; thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with crypto accounting (or willingness to learn).
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations: bookkeeping, reconciliations, monthly closes, reporting.
• Manage U.S. tax compliance and regulatory filings; maintain filing calendars.
• Work with external accountants, auditors, and advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain Delaware corporate records, filings, and franchise tax requirements.
• Oversee light administration of U.K. entity and offshore foundation (minimal activity).
• Implement scalable systems and processes to support rapid growth.

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Director / Group Financial Controller who can take ownership of the day-to-day finance function with a sharp focus on compliance and accuracy. This is a hands-on role, best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can ensure that all filings, records, and reporting are completed on time and done right.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations: bookkeeping, reconciliations, monthly closes, reporting.
• Manage U.S. tax compliance and regulatory filings; maintain filing calendars to ensure deadlines are met.
• Work with external accountants, auditors, and advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain Delaware corporate records, filings, and franchise tax requirements.
