Job summary

The Corporate Institute in the Philippines seeks a seasoned finance leader to own the entire finance function and drive growth for a fast-scaling business. You will build robust controls, lead budgeting and forecasting, prepare investor-ready reports, and mentor a high-performing team to partner with founders and leaders.

As Head of Finance, you will shape financial strategy, ensure discipline, and collaborate across functions to sustain rapid growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• CA; rank holders preferred.
• 8+ years post-qualification experience with strong exposure to controllership and business finance.
• Currently working as a Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or a strong Finance No. 2, ready to step into a larger leadership role.
• Experience in high-growth, consumer, retail, manufacturing, D2C, or startup environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, reporting, and business partnering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end finance function, including accounting, controllership, FP&A, MIS, treasury, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.
• Build and strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and scalable finance processes to support business growth.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, financial modelling, profitability analysis, and unit economics.
• Prepare investor-ready financial reports, board packs, and support fundraising, due diligence, and strategic finance initiatives.
• Partner with founders and business leaders to drive data-backed decision-making while ensuring financial discipline across the organization.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team capable of supporting a rapidly evolving business.
