Job summary

SM Retail Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager in Finance to lead planning, budgeting and forecasting efforts across business units. You will drive performance management, develop scorecards, coordinate data and deliver insightful analyses to support strategic decisions.

The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership, and proficiency in MS Office, with 2–5 years in retail or related fields. Collaboration with internal teams and external auditors is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or business-related field; CPA/CFA/CMA/CIMA advantageous for Senior Managers
• 2–5 years of experience in retail or related field (level dependent)
• Business and finance acumen essential
• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Planning, budgeting and forecasting: capture data, consolidate plans and generate reports
• Prepare first draft of budgeting/forecasting/presentation packs
• Business performance management and decision support: establish balanced scorecard and track targets
• Coordinate performance and working capital management; provide benchmarking data and insights
• Reporting, governance and control: prepare management reports, ensure policy compliance and assist audits
• Assist with tax compliance information and opportunities
