Job summary

Australian Volunteers International is seeking a Finance Business Partner in the Philippines. The role delivers accurate financial reporting, maintains controls, and drives data-driven decisions across AVI.

You will own finance systems, lead planning and audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen financial health and support AVI’s mission. The position requires CPA status, accounting qualifications, and extensive experience in project-based accounting, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting and CPA status.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of accounting concepts in a project-based setting.
• Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders with insightful analysis and sound commercial judgment.
• Experience with confidential management of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate financial reporting and maintain strong financial controls.
• Lead planning, budgeting and month-end processes, including preparation of management information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable data-driven decision making across AVI.
