Job summary

VAP (VA Platinum) | Outsourcing Experts, based in the Philippines, is seeking a Finance Manager for an on-site contract in Davao. You will oversee financial operations, manage budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and supervise accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.

You will collaborate with leadership to provide financial analysis and implement strong controls. A Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance is required, CPA is an advantage, and prior BPO or outsourcing

Role Description

The Finance Manager is a contract, on-site role based in Davao, responsible for overseeing the financial operations supporting VAP’s outsourcing and virtual assistant services. On a day-to‑day basis, the Finance Manager prepares and reviews financial statements, manages budgeting and forecasting, and monitors cash flow to ensure the company’s financial stability. The role includes supervising accounting processes such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. The Finance Manager collaborates with leadership to provide financial analysis, performance reports, and recommendations that support strategic decisions and business growth. This role also involves implementing and improving financial controls, systems, and procedures, while guiding and mentoring finance team members.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial management skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets, with the ability to analyze data and generate clear financial insights and dashboards.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, internal controls, and best practices for compliance in a professional services or outsourcing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, stakeholder communication, and cross‑functional collaboration with operations and senior management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in BPO, outsourcing, or shared services environments is highly desirable, particularly in managing multi‑entity or offshore financial operations.
