Job summary

A+B Expedio Integrated Marketing Communications Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Manila. The role covers tax filing, remittance, compliance monitoring, and end-to-end accounts payable/receivable processes.

The position requires a BS in Accountancy with 1–3 years in accounting, AR, and taxation, plus proficiency in Excel and Peachtree. Immediate start preferred in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is required.
• 1–3 years in Accounting is required.
• 1–3 years in Accounts Receivable is required.
• 1–3 years in Taxation or Tax Compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle tax filing and remittance, compliance monitoring and documentation.
• Process invoices and verify payments.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and process payments; manage petty cash and reimbursements.
• Provide budgeting and financial analysis support and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Petty cash custodian and replenishment
• Perform checking of Fund Request and Settlement Report for assigned designated/special projects.
• Review, verify, and process invoices.
• Prepare and process payments
• Regularly updates listing of financial transactions, budget monitoring report and
• provides updates on financial status of designated/special projects.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and financial analysis
• Identify regulatory issues and concerns associated with tax compliance by reviewing contracts, policies, and guidelines of the company
• Ensure our company’s internal processes are compliant with existing tax laws by monitoring tax development at local and national levels
• Negotiate with tax authorities to resolve tax payment issues and ensure tax filings are submitted within the estimated timelines

Job Requirements

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• 1-3 Years of Work Experience in Accounting
• 1-3 Years of Work Experience in Accounts Receivable
• 1-3 Years of Experience in Taxation or Tax Compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Peachtree Software and other Accounting Systems
