Job summary

Century Pacific Food, Inc. is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our financial accounting and reporting team at the Calamba City, Laguna facility.

The role supports accurate reporting, strategic financial planning, and insights for informed business decisions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance with up to 3 years of related experience, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and a solid grasp of financial accounting principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and consolidation procedures.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and areas requiring management attention.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analysing performance against targets.
• Maintain financial databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting queries.
• Monitor compliance with accounting regulations and internal control procedures.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management.
• Assist in Warehouse Inventory management.

About the role

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing insights that drive informed business decisions. This position is integral to maintaining the financial integrity and compliance of the organisation whilst contributing to strategic financial planning and analysis.
