Job summary

RCX RECRUITMENT INC. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our finance team in the Philippines.

The role covers end-to-end accounting processes, including AP, AR, GL reconciliations, and maintaining accurate books. You will support month-end and year-end closing, assist with statutory and management reports, manage cash flow and fixed assets, and help ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA is an advantage but not required.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience in AP, AR, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations in the Philippines.
• Proficient in general ledger accounting and financial reporting; ERP systems experience.
• Knowledge of Local Financial Reporting Standards and statutory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; high integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform GL reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, and prepare reports.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring, payment processing, and fixed asset records.
• Prepare tax schedules and assist with local tax compliance; coordinate with auditors and government agencies.

Job description

• Accounting Operations: Process accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and general ledger (GL) reconciliations; prepare accounting records and journal entries.
• Financial Closing & Reporting: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, and assist in preparing statutory, regulatory, and management reports.
• Cash Flow & Asset Management: Assist with cash flow monitoring and payment processing; maintain fixed asset records to support asset verification and tracking.
• Tax & Compliance: Prepare tax schedules and assist with local tax compliance (including withholding taxes and VAT); coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
• Budgeting & Internal Controls: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; comply strictly with internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• General Administration & Support: Provide accounting support to various business units and assist management with finance, HR, office administration, and general tasks.
