Job summary

Edsa Shangri-La Manila is seeking a Service Associate - Finance (Accounts Payable) to join our hotel's finance team. You will process supplier invoices, ensure timely payment, and maintain accurate records in our AP system, while upholding internal controls and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Has passion for Finance
• At least 1–2 years experience in Accounts Payable in a deluxe hotel
• Preferably CPA/BS in Accountancy
• Knowledgeable in OPMS, Infrasys and Check-SCM
• Good understanding of the accounting function
• Detail oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
• Enjoys interacting with people and providing solutions

Responsibilities

• Checks to ensure that debit notes are prepared and sent on schedule
• Approves cheques for signing
• Ensures all invoices are approved by authorized personnel
• Returns unauthorized invoices
• Prepares accurate allocation of all accounts payable for posting
• Promotes prompt payment of invoices and avails discounts
• Ensures invoices are properly approved for payment
• Reviews coding of invoices for discrepancies
• Prepares expense analysis and reports
• Checks invoices for accuracy
• Cooperates with auditors
