Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist
Siegen HR Solutions, Inc. · Congressional Ave., Quezon City · Onsite, Mon–Fri, 9AM–6PM
Most finance jobs give you a system that already works. This one doesn’t, and that’s why we’re hiring.
We’re a lean group of two sister companies in B2B services. Our finance function has reached the point where “it’s handled” isn’t good enough anymore. We need someone who will own it: find what’s broken, rebuild it properly, and turn our numbers into reporting leadership can actually make decisions on.
If a messy reconciliation makes you curious instead of tired, keep reading.
Find what’s broken in our accounting, billing, collections, cash management, and reporting. Then design and implement better processes, controls, and systems, and measure whether the fixes actually worked.
Own the monthly close for two separate entities and deliver a management pack for each by the 10th: P&L, balance sheet, and cash position, plus the variances, the risks, and what we should do about them.
Maintain a weekly rolling cash-flow forecast and explain why actuals moved.
Oversee AR, AP, billing, and collections. You’ll catch the duplicate payment, the misclassified client fund, and the invoice that doesn’t match the contract.
Review payroll registers and statutory schedules (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding) against HR inputs before release. You’ll also own the tax and compliance calendar alongside our external accounting/tax and payroll providers.
Lead a vendor-documentation cleanup covering 2026 and prior years, and supervise and coach one Finance Operations Specialist.
By Day 30, a risk-ranked diagnosis of where our finance operations stand. By Day 60, new controls and trackers in place and the cleanup underway. By Day 90, reporting and reconciliation running on a steady rhythm, and a report on what you changed and why.
You hold a BS Accountancy and have 2+ years of hands-on accounting: reconciliations, AR/AP, financial reporting, and internal controls. A CPA license isn’t required. Competence is.
You can turn financial statements into analysis: variances explained, risks flagged, actions recommended.
You know Philippine tax in practice: VAT, EWT, compensation withholding, and BIR filings and deadlines.
You understand payroll accounting well enough to spot when a register is wrong.
You’re strong in Excel or Google Sheets and comfortable in an accounting system.
You’ve reviewed other people’s work or supervised before (preferred).
When something breaks, you ask why it happened and how to stop it from happening again, not just how to make it go away.
You want a steady routine of encoding and filing. There is real cleanup here.
You need a fully built system and a big team before you can perform.
You’d round a number, backdate a document, or mark something “recovered” to make a report look clean. We will always take an honest exception over a tidy-looking lie.
