Job summary

NextLogic Distribution Inc. is seeking an organized Accounting/Finance Officer with solid experience in accounting and finance.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, managing payables/receivables, and ensuring compliance with BIR and other government requirements. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience, a relevant degree, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in ERP systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and payroll processing.
• Experience with BIR processing and government compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero or similar ERP).
• Able to prepare financial statements and handle regulatory requirements.
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and supporting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with statutory deductions and government contributions.
• Prepare and file BIR tax reports and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies as needed.
