The role involves processing disbursements, journal entries, VAT filings, audits assistance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain financial health. A university degree and 3+ years of relevant experience are required, with Big Four exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Business, and Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; multinational or Big Four preferred but not required.
• Experience in financial operations, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review KYC applications and related customer data and terms.
• Follow up AR with sales and attend weekly AR meetings.
• Prepare journal entries for bank receipts and payments.
• Track and collect CWT from customers promptly.
• Review disbursement applications and prepare month-end closing journal entries.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Prepare monthly input VAT filings per BIR regulations.
• Support finance queries and assist Country Manager.
• Assist other regions with FA tasks if needed.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Finance & Accounting Specialist to join our team and handle a wide range of finance and accounting functions, from managing accounts receivable and processing disbursements to ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, support both local and regional operations, and contribute to the company’s overall financial health.

Job Description:

• Finance Job Details:

  • Review KYCapplication, including related customer master data, modifications, and relevant customer transaction terms discussing.
  • Follow up withsales team on outstanding Account Receivable according to the SOP, attend weekly AR meeting with sales team and HQ to check the updated AR status.
  • Prepare journal entries on bank receipts and subsequent clear against its relevant outstanding invoices.
  • Track and collect Certificate of Withholding Tax (CWT) from customers on a timely basis.

• Accounting Job Details:

  • Review and check the Disbursement application submitted by Staff for vendor and staff reimbursement, prepare the Journal entriesfor payment processing.
  • Prepare journal entries for month end closing accounting works (i.e. Staff payroll, Depreciation, etc.)
  • Provide required documentation and information for quarterly internal audits and annual external audits.
  • Prepare monthly input VAT filings and ensure timely and accurate submission in compliance with BIR regulations.

• Others:

  • Support the employees with any accounting, tax and finance related queries.
  • Support the Country Manager for any accounting and finance duties.
  • Support other region's F&A related tasks (if needed).

Job Requirements:

• University Degree, or professional qualification in Accounting, Business, and Finance
• Hands-on experience in financial operations is highly valued.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; experience with Big Four accounting firms or multinational companies is a plus but not required (Technology industry experience is preferred)
• Familiarity with financial operations, such as bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance
• Good computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel. (SAP experience is a plus)
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (able to speak in Mandarin is a plus.
