About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities
Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
Prepare financial reports and analyses for management review.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
Assist with external and internal audits.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Handle and manage company tax matters.
Prepare and submit GST returns and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders.
Assist with any special projects/assignments/any other ad hoc duties
About you
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
3-5 years of working experience as an Accountant, preferably within a multinational company or shared service environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
