Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and maintain accurate records.
• Post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Prepare financial reports and management analyses.

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.

• Prepare financial reports and analyses for management review.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

• Assist with external and internal audits.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Handle and manage company tax matters.

• Prepare and submit GST returns and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders.

• Assist with any special projects/assignments/any other ad hoc duties

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

• 3-5 years of working experience as an Accountant, preferably within a multinational company or shared service environment.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
